Online Auction Terms and Conditions

Prior to bidding in our Internet only auction, please read and understand the following Online Auction Terms and Conditions:

  • In order to bid in the Online Auction, you must first register providing a username, password, and required credit/debit card information.  All information is kept safe and secure using strict security protocols and standards. A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to the price of each item purchased.
  • All bids must be submitted using the online bidding process.  Buyer is responsible for confirming all bids for accuracy.  Bidders will receive notification via email whenever they have been outbid on an item.  It is the bidder’s responsibility to monitor and increase their bids to maintain high bidder status as desired.  You can use “max bid” to automatically increase your bids whenever another bidder places a bid above your current bid.  The system will automatically increase the bid one bid increment above a bid placed by a second bidder.
  • All items are being sold “As-Is” with no warranty expressed or implied.  Every effort will be made to accurately describe the item to be sold including any known defects or problems.  However, D & E Auctions is not responsible for any inaccuracies in the description, authenticity, or defect of any lot being sold.  Descriptions and photos are provided as a guide only. On-site inspection will be provided and the bidder is encouraged to take advantage of that opportunity.
  • All sales are final.  A successful bid at auction, whether live or online, constitutes a legally binding contract of sale.  There will be no refunds or exchanges.
  • D & E Auctions reserves the right to add or remove any item or items associated with this auction.
  • Unless specifically stated otherwise, this is an online auction with reserve.  Some of the items in the online auction may have reserve or minimum prices.  D & E Auctions will keep these to a minimum.
  • This auction uses a staggered and soft close.  Items will begin to close in a staggered fashion in numerical order at the closing time.  A bid received on any item less than 3 minutes of closing will add 3 minutes to the close of that item.  Bidding on an item will remain active as long as bids are received within the 3 minute increment.
  • Once the auction closes, the winning bidder will be emailed an invoice showing items and the credit/debit card provided will be charged for amount you owe.
  • Removal dates and times will be posted for each auction.  Each bidder is responsible for removal of items during the removal period specified.  Bidder must provide labor and packing supplies as needed.  D & E Auctions does not have staff on hand to load your purchases.  Buyer must provide invoice and I.D. if required prior to loading.
  • Terms and conditions posted in the online auction take precedence over terms and conditions listed here.
